Both visitor numbers and sales were up and it’s no surprise as the standard of work on show was of high calibre. Thanks to the selectors and all the organisers. I really enjoyed taking part both exhibiting and stewarding. Now looking forward to the members exhibition in the spring….

Last few days! Open Thurs – Sat 10am – 5pm and Sunday 10am – 4pm.

After two very successful shows in this quirky, contemporary art gallery (just off Weston’s seafront at 5 St. Margaret’s Street, BS23 1AH), this exhibition showcases some new artists with a variety of work from ceramics to painting, jewellery to printmaking and some drawings thrown in for good measure. With some excellent visitor feedback this is well worth a visit.

Very pleased to have had two of my monotypes selected for this annual show. It’s the first time I’ve entered and will do so again. It’s a fabulous building with a great gallery space and café. Well worth a visit.

Delighted to have won second prize with my charcoal drawing ‘In the Pig Pen’ at this year’s show and to have taken part in the Artists in Action marquee with a demonstration of a charcoal landscape, which some of the audience drew alongside me. Many thanks to the organisers. Already looking forward to next year’s show….

It’s been a great weekend so far with lots of visitors enjoying walking around the trail visiting parts of Cheddar they’ve not seen before and finding some real gems amongst the paintings, jewellery, sculpture, ceramics, fine art photography, collage, textile art, printmaking and charcoal drawing on display.

Lots of homemade cake along the way too! A great way to spend the bank holiday.

This May Bank Holiday Weekend

Our popular annual Walking Arts Trail around the village of Cheddar is back! Discover 28 artists in 12 different venues with refreshments along the way. Something for everyone from jewellery, sculpture and ceramics to paintings, photography, printmaking and textiles. Delighted to have had St. Michael’s Mount selected for this year’s show back in the RWA itself.
