Gallery Show

Featured artist @ Church House Designs Gallery

Visit this delightful gallery and bespoke gift shop in Congresbury where you will find my monochromatic landscapes of the Mendip Hills on display on the main gallery wall.  When delivering my work for hanging I couldn’t resist one of the landscaped ceramics, which seem to complement my work very well.

My work will be on display throughout June so if you are passing through Congresbury  do take a left turn opposite the Ship & Castle pub to seek out the gallery. churchhousedesigns.co.uk

If you visit the Victoria Art Gallery between now and 12th May you will see my two latest graphite drawings of the Mendip Hills selected for the society’s 113th open exhibition.  I love being out in the landscape and there is something particularly promising about bare winter trees that are bathed in light. The strong contrast between light and dark very much appeals to me and the materials I use help me to convey this in my work.

This annual exhibition is well worth a visit for the variety and amount of work on display.  You will find paintings, drawings and printmaking alongside ceramics, collage and sculpture.

North Somerset Arts Week – until 7th May!

Visit students of my Bleadon and Shipham weekly art classes at VENUE 27 on the Banwell Art Trail.  They are exhibiting examples and framed pictures of the work they have been developing relating to the drawing skills we have been building over the last 15 months since the classes first started.  There is so much to see and I hope they are proud of the exhibition and what they have achieved.  They are delighted to have made some sales too!  Such a talented bunch.

Tea, coffee and homemade cake are also being served so do go and give your support.
