All 12 venues are open to welcome you between 10.30am – 4pm.

It’s been a great weekend so far with lots of visitors enjoying walking around the trail visiting parts of Cheddar they’ve not seen before and finding some real gems amongst the paintings, jewellery, sculpture, ceramics, fine art photography, collage, textile art, printmaking and charcoal drawing on display.

Lots of homemade cake along the way too! A great way to spend the bank holiday.

Our popular annual Walking Arts Trail around the village of Cheddar is back! Discover 28 artists in 12 different venues with refreshments along the way. Something for everyone from jewellery, sculpture and ceramics to paintings, photography, printmaking and textiles. It’s our last day of what’s been a fabulous weekend with lots of visitors, arty chat and sales!

Following the success of our inaugural exhibition last November we are back with a new show entitled ‘The Other Half’ in honour of Valentines Day. All of the artists and makers exhibiting have been asked to interpret this title in their own way, to create an arts trail within the exhibition. We are also very happy to be exhibiting the wonderful print work work of artist Aga Kubish.

Very pleased to have received an award at this year’s exhibition in the Arts Centre. I’ve enjoyed visiting for the past few years and have been inspired to make some charcoal drawings in response to my visits.
