‘A Sense of Place’

Exhibition by Tina Dodd & Lindy Paul

 18th Oct. – 7th Nov.

  Thursday – Sunday                10.30am – 4.30pm

Old Town Quarry, South Road, Weston-s-Mare, Bs23 2LU

Meet Tina in the café gallery on Thursday 31st October and both Lindy and Tina on Sunday 3rd November.

We are very pleased with how the exhibition looks as there is plenty of space on the gallery walls for our work to ‘breathe’.  We have curated a show that exhibits our individual responses to the landscape.  As well as my usual graphite drawings I am showing a series of monotypes, from my visits to a printmaking studio in Bawdrip over the past year or so, and a series of vibrant pastel paintings inspired by my love of Dartmoor.

Lindy has a slightly more abstract approach to her atmospheric landscapes, some of which are a metre square in size and so are much larger in scale than my work.  Other landscapes are smaller and more ethereal.
