Codename Octopus.
This exhibition showcases the work of fifteen artists specialising in ceramics, printmaking, jewellery, fashion and painting / mixed media. All of the work on show has been produced by artist /designers in various stages of their creative careers. Among those exhibiting are MA graduates from the Royal College of Art, UWE and Bath Spa University and two of our artists have recently received awards for their innovative work.
Codename Octopus are a group of artists and educational professionals dedicated to support local artists and craftspeople. We have a program of taught workshops designed to provide beginners with the skills required to create work followed by opportunities to build a career in their chosen discipline.
Some of those exhibiting are designers who have participated in our workshops and are exhibiting for the first time, but you would be hard pressed to distinguish their work from those more established artists!
